Checking In!

It’s been a while, so I’m going to check in between my annual Soul Crawls.

Let me explain: as a certified volunteer tour guide at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, I have led tours during LHC’s annual nighttime “Soul Crawl” tours every year since 2012. I love these tours. Each Soul Crawl evening is inevitably one of my favorite nights of the year. I love seeing my fellow guides and leading fun groups of people (and my groups are nearly always fun) on flash-lit tours of the cemetery.

Last night was the first 2023 Soul Crawl and tonight will be the last. We had an excellent evening last night and the weather and the full moon should be fully cooperative tonight as well.

But, since I have a moment just now, I want to say hello to anyone who happens upon this online journal or is on my mailing list. Hello!

Change is in the air right now. A change of season is happening, of course, but other changes are happening as well. At some point I’ll elaborate.

In the meantime, there are things to do today and there will be more soul crawling tonight.
