Three Days in D.C. (Day 3)
We fit a whole lot of history, and some good food, into our Sunday in Washington, D.C.
Here, in words and photos, are the highlights of the third of my recent three days in Washington, D.C.

Following lunch, we made one more stop in D.C. before leaving town. We went to the National Archives. There is strictly no photography allowed in the building, but we did see the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. Considering the fact that we as a country are still struggling mightily to be a “more perfect Union”, it is a thought-provoking and profound experience to gather among hundreds of other people to examine these documents, and to think about what they meant then, and what they should mean now.
